If you have a Facebook account, you could set up a fundraiser for Reason, Inc. to celebrate your birthday or another special occasion. Additional resources will allow us to schedule more surgeries.

Setting up a Fundraiser
- On your computer or tablet, log in to Facebook.
- On the left of the screen, click Fundraisers.
- Tip: If you don’t see Fundraisers on the left, click See more to open more options.
- On the left, click +Raise money.
- Click Select nonprofit.
- Select Reason, Inc. You may need to search for our nonprofit.
- Enter the goal amount of money you want to raise, the end date of the fundraiser, etc.
- Click Create for the fundraiser to go live.
- Invite friends to donate to your fundraiser and share the fundraiser in your feed.

We will send you a receipt for tax purposes. REASON, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, IRS Section 170(b)(2)(iii) for both federal and state tax purposes.
If people have other items they want to donate (i.e. food, kennel, beds), we refer them to our local rescue partners in Burke County.
If you are considering a donation, please know that REASON is financially solvent. We are diligent in our stewardship of the monies entrusted to us. In the past, 94% of our total income received went directly to cover the vet costs of spay/neuter surgeries.
