Volunteers are all about saving dogs and cats.

Volunteers are not handling animals but are working with the pet’s owner and local vets to make sure that the spay/neuter surgery happens. Volunteers are needed to:

  • Return phone calls from potential clients to see if they qualify for the REASON program. You can do this online in the comfort of your own home.
  • Meet with clients once a month for a few hours at Walker Road Baptist Church for curbside registration.
  • Assist with scheduling vet appointments and reminders.
  • Suggest and participate in fundraising activities.
  • Promote education about the importance of spay and neuter surgeries in preventing unwanted litters.

Could you find time to volunteer for REASON?

Carrie P. volunteers from the comfort of her home. Her cats, Pumpkin and Willow, are always ready to keep her company.

We have included a volunteer application to streamline the volunteer process. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you can download/print the application, complete it, then email or mail the completed form back to us.

Please note that volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

We would love to answer any questions you might have. We also welcome suggestions.
